I came across this nifty online application:
“Photography lighting diagrams made easy with this online tool: use the drop down menus, select objects, drag them, rotate them, change their layers then export your diagram to JPEG or save its URL.”

For some that might be interested, there is also another alternative on iPhone called Strobox. You can check it out more on http://app.strobox.com . Hope this helps some of you.
