Now, to get some toys for your cool new toys.

Hopefully you received a few cool toys in your Christmas stocking this year...I know I did. But now the dilemma, some toys do need accessories to 'complete' them.

For example, the iPod I mentioned here is a very nice unit, so much so that I want to protect it from the other contents of my backpack, or my small dog.

Cue the Proporta catalogue. Yep, you can find a few nifty things to enhance and complement your technology, as I did for my iPod Nano.

The Alu-Crystal Case is a cool little unit. Once side is clear polycarbonate plastic, the other Proporta's trademark aircraft grade aluminium.

One great feature is these little rubber bumps, and a black friction pad on the aluminium back. They're used to keep the iPod Nano securely inside the case, yet allow easy extraction of the Nano when you really need to get at it.

There's one access hole at the top, to let you get to the 'hold' locking switch, another big round one on the front for access to the iPod click wheel.

The bottom of the Alu-Crystal Case is completely open, though flush with the bottom of the iPod Nano. To use a docking adaptor, you'd have to slide the Nano slightly out of the case.

I was a bit concerned at that the case would make the iPod a bit more bulky. Not to worry, the unit is as sleek as ever, but now the lovely Apple iPod finish won't get battered by the other stuff in my pack.

I know, it's a bit hard to make the iPod Nano better (other than ditching iTunes), but the protection offered by the Alu-Crystal Case increases my comfort level.

I bought me a cool skin for my Optio W20. Yes, the W10 skin fits it nicely. Only $20 from London Druggies. I don’t care what anyone else says here, it’s UBER cool!
