Woke up this morning feeling fine…except for the freaking time (5am).
Cab arrived at 6.
Airport by 6:40.
Jump through 2 different Air Canada checkin desks to get things arranged…nice lady at the help desk managed to:

  • get us sitting together
  • get us the extra legroom of an exit row…nice lady!

Flight was uneventful.
Grab Rental car.
Load car, turn on GPS and flawlessly navigate to the hotel. Nice toy!

Since we’re here early…the Parks Canada/Geocaching workshop doesn’t start until Friday, Tess and I decided to get a great start on the tourist thing.

We went to the Parliament grounds and took pictures…but not before walking the surrounding neighbourhood of the hotel, finding an awesome eatery, and downing a great meal.

…and that’s pretty much it. Was techie challenged getting the wireless working in our room, but once that was set, we were golden.
