Chatbox / Shoutbox … what’s the fuss?

Earlier today I mounted a new feature on my Geocaching website . I'd seen these on other websites and thought to myself , "Self, what the heck, let's see if this gets any use".

The site caters to a regional audience of geocachers, so the chat box may have limited use -- most of the users prefer to dialogue via the forums.

Anyway, we'll see if this actually has value, or not.
